These savoury raw truffles are made with pili nuts have soft and nutty texture spiced with oregano and fresh basil leaves are great as an appetiser or added in your main dish.
Preparation time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (pre-soaked)
1 cup pili nuts
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup linseed
1 tsp oregano
1/2 TS himalayan salt
2 TBSP tahini
2 TBSP chopped fresh basil
6 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
1 TBSP lemon juice
1 TS balsamic or apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Blend all dry ingredients together, add pre-soaked sun-dried tomatoes and the rest of ingredients with liquids going last. Pulse until everything gets together into one incorporated mass. Once your mixture is ready, start rolling the truffles (We made round shapes). You can decorate them with all kinds of seeds and herbs. Enjoy!
